Mission Opportunities at First Baptist Church
Clothing Closet
Two Wednesdays each month our church opens its clothing closet to those in need in our community. Volunteers are always needed to organize donations and help our neighbors during distribution. Contact the church office for this month’s clothing closet dates and times.
Benevolence
Every day our neighbors in need and our downtown friends come to First Baptist Church seeking assistance, snacks, water and prayer. We are able to serve these needs because of generous donations from our church family.
Breakfast at Fayetteville Area Operation InAsMuch
Every other month First Baptist Church serves breakfast to our neighbors in need at Fayetteville Area Operation InAsMuch. Operation InAsMuch is a local nonprofit that provides many services to the homeless of Fayetteville.
Meals for the Care Center
The Care Center provides free medical and dental care for our neighbors in need. Once a month, First Baptist Church provides dinner for the volunteers and medical staff.
Flower Delivery for the Homebound
Each week, the altar flowers from the worship service are arranged into vases to be delivered to our homebound members. Volunteers are always welcome to arrange flowers and deliver them.
